Lisa and Jim's Northern Nevada Real Estate Blog: LOL Friday ... 'Well, I'll be damned! ............. A Talking Pig!'

LOL Friday ... 'Well, I'll be damned! ............. A Talking Pig!'

Here's a little Internet Classic that I received from my sister in Bow, Washington  ...  She's an Internet Joke Magnet!

Three Little Pigs

I hope it brightens your Friday!

This is a story, proving how fascinating the mind of a six year old really is.

They think so logically.

A teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class. She Came to the part of the story where first pig was trying to gather the building Materials for his home.

She read. 'and so the pig went up to the man with the Wheelbarrow full of straw and said:   'Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that Straw to build my house?'

The teacher paused then asked the class: 'And what do you think the man said?'

One little boy raised his hand and said very matter-of-factly ...  I think the Man would have said .............  'Well, I'll be damned! .............  A Talking Pig!'

The teacher had to leave the room.

Funny story! Kids speak their own thoughts, not always what we are expecting. Thanks for the laugh.

This reminds me of the old Arthur Godfrey program in the 50's called Kids Say The Darndest Things.  Our children do indeed surprise us sometimes with their verbal contributions.

Edward and Celia - I remember Art Linklette from my childhood!

Sara - You are right!  Sometimes things go into their heads and right out of their mouths.

Tom - Do you listen to XM radio station 151?  It's all comedy and sometime they have excerpts from Arthur Godfrey!  Give it a listen!

Back in my day in school, if I had said that, Mrs. Teacher would have grabbed me by the ears or hair, dragged me to the bathroom, and washed my mouth out with soap. Then she would have informed my wise old grandmother, who would have washed my mouth out with soap again when I got home. Alas, the world has changed....
