3 New Ways Agents are Using Facebook for Real Estate

Jarred and John ... What a wonderful post, Thanks for the great information and for the perfect idea!  I've been using my Facebook some but can see so much more potential.  I was on a call today with one of the top agents in the country ... she said they are using every opportunity to work their business into social media and having wonderful success!  Great Post!

By embracing these strategies that less than 1% of agents know you'll be able to use Facebook as a critical support for your overall marketing.

1. They are using Facebook pages as their website or their “face to the world.” - Many agents are starting to save money by using their Facebook page as website because they can get rid of their monthly web fees. This is great for the agents who need to save money and are not getting results from their website. Plus, you'll be on the cutting edge of an easier-to-use technology.

2. They are using Facebook to drip on their database for free. - Once you get your database connected to your page, you can easily keep them informed about real estate in the communities they live in in as little as 10 minutes a-day.

Our advice is to never spend more than 15 minutes per day on Facebook. However, in that 15 minutes you can have a major impact (for free) that other marketing platforms simply don't offer (direct mail).

3. They are standing out from agents who are behind the times - Putting a simple 1-sheet in your listing presentation that shows the seller your social media strategy will get you results...agents tell me that it works!

Imagine being the only agent in your local market with a professional social media strategy. This would be like walking into a seller 60 years ago and telling them about your TV strategy. You will win the business if you are on the cutting edge!

Lisa, thank you for re-blogging Jarred's post about Facebook...so far, I've only been using the "automatic" feed from my AR blog posts on my Facebook Page, but I do need to look into being more active. :)
